Come out and enjoy a lunch n' learn event at UC Irvine. Sally Geislar, Director of The Food Works Lab and Doctoral Candidate at UC Irvine's Department of Planning, Policy and Design, will talk about her exciting work in developing a closed-loop system for food. There will be a discussion on what the lunch has to do with sustainable food, composting and behavioral change.

This event will include an optional tour following the discussion of the community garden and compost in an on-campus apartment community.

WHEN: Friday, March 6 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm

COST: Free for members; $35.00 for non-members

Lunch will be provided. Space is limited for this event.
