Transcending Your Environment - What is your Success Strategy?
The economy has slowed, professional opportunities are limited, and standing out in the crowd is harder than ever. How do you overcome your environment and create professional opportunities in this climate? This presentation will focus on identifying strategies that have proved successful in the past, but are now roadblocks to creating that next big achievement. Through interactive discussion, participants will identify their own strategies, learn new tools for moving beyond their blocks, and hear from others how changes in their strategies have made a difference in their career.
Presenter/Facilitator: Lisa Carpenter, Owner, Carpenter Coaching
Ms. Carpenter is a trained life coach, mediator and facilitator with 17 years of experience managing and supporting water, wastewater, and energy infrastructure projects. Her professional background includes nearly a decade of experience as a mediator and facilitator for both private and non-profit sectors, in large and small organizations. As a complement to her mediation and facilitation skills, in June of 2011, Ms. Carpenter will complete a year-long coaches training program through Accomplishment Coaching (an ICF-accredited program) to become an Associate Certified Coach. Ms. Carpenter has lived and traveled throughout Asia and holds several degrees including a Master in International Management from Thunderbird, School of Global Management, a Master of Arts in Religion from Graceland University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from California State University.
Registration: We have 25 spaces for the event. Between May 24 and June 7 registration will be for AWWEE Members only. If there is space available after June 7, we will open the event to non-members for $35.
