Please join us for an evening with Cassie Doyle, the current Consul General of Canada and former Deputy Minister of Energy for Canada. For decades, Canada and the U.S. have traded energy sources, including natural gas, crude oil, and uranium. In fact, Canada is the largest supplier of energy to the U.S. Consul General Doyle will address the current policy challenges to energy supply between Canada and the Western United States. The discussion will include current oil, natural gas, and renewable issues that Canada faces in the Western U.S. and what this means for the future as the Western states move towards diversification of their energy resources.

Since 2011, Ms. Cassie Doyle has been the Consul of Canada for northern California, Nevada, Hawaii and Guam. She has served at the executive level of all three orders of government including as Deputy Minister with both the governments of Canada and British Columbia. Over the past 15 years, she has led departments that have focused on advancing Canada's energy, natural resources and environmental agencies.
