TO MAIN AWWEE WEBPAGE
REGISTRATION IS CLOSED.
The Salton Sea is a large inland lake in southeastern California. In the coming decades, the Sea will begin to dry up—impairing air quality, reducing the availability of wildlife habitat, and increasing the salinity of the remaining Sea. Join AWWEE's San Diego Regional Team in learning about the history and current state of the Sea and the legal and policy reasons for restoring the Sea. There will also be a discussion on the renewable opportunities related to the Sea.
SPEAKERS:
WHEN: Friday, April 22, 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM WHERE: Center for Sustainable Energy, Discovery Room, 9325 Sky Park Court, Suite 100, San Diego, CA
COST: Free for members and $35 non-members
Lunch will be provided.
Registration closes Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at 12:00 pm.
