Tour of California ISO LEED Platinum Campus

Come join AWWEE for a tour of the California ISO’s new headquarters in Folsom.  The campus has been certified as LEED platinum and includes rooftop and carport photovoltaics that produce 750 kilowatts of electricity and energy usage that is 72 percent lower as compared to its previous location. Water use is reduced 30 percent and building gray water provides 100 percent of irrigation. 

Tours will be led by:  Stephanie McCorkle, Michael Ellis, Tami Elliott, and Jim Blatchford 

Tours will include:

  • CAISO overview in media room
  • Observation of control room from overlook
  • Tour of Smart Grid Center
  • Short walking tour of the public facility and grounds (show apsects of LEED building design)

2:30-3:00pm-Check in/networking

3:00-5:30pm-Event

5:30-7:00pm-After event networking (Fat's Restaurant, 2585 Iron Point Road, Folsom, CA)

Parking: Parking on the left side after passing the guard area is reserved for guests 

Registration: Free for members and $35 for non-members. Registration deadline is November 8th. 

*Must register in advance and have valid ID at time of check-in.
