AWWEE's Sacramento Regional Leadership Team invites you to join them on a tour of the Bioreactor Project at the University of California, Davis (UC Davis) and a social hour afterwards.
The Bioreactor Project is an innovative anaerobic digestion system that can convert high‐solids green waste, manure, food, and food processing wastes into biogas which can be then be converted to electricity. Professor Ruihong Zhang, at UC Davis, developed this technology. She will be available to answer questions during and after the tour.
Pre-registration is required. Please register before August 21st. Registration fee is free to members, $35 for non-members, and $10 for students.
